Chelsea Children’s Therapy ( CCT) was founded by Julia Terteryan (Occupational Therapist) and Wiz Chilton (Physiotherapist), more than 15 years ago building on their extensive experience working within the NHS, private practice, mainstream and special education settings. They continue to work with a small team of therapists providing practical and functional therapeutic intervention to children either at school, at home or in a clinical setting.

CCT provides occupational and physiotherapy to children from infancy through to adolescence and beyond, in Central and Southwest London.
Therapists are experienced working in nurseries, primary and secondary schools in both the state and independent sector.
The practice is well known to a number of leading independent day schools and is regularly commissioned by local authorities to provide therapy for children who have an Educational Health Care Plan.

All therapists working within the practice believe firmly in early intervention to support children in reaching their potential. We have a strong commitment to working alongside parents and carers, teachers and other healthcare professionals to enable successful and fulfilling participation in the activities of daily life that some children find challenging at home, at school or in relation to their leisure pursuits.

We take a flexible approach to therapy, striving to find a route for intervention that gives the child the support they need while equally being manageable for parents and teachers.

We routinely work in collaboration with Speech and language therapists, Psychologists, Art and Play Therapists, SEND specialist / Education Consultants and we all believe firmly in the value of effective teamwork to support the children in our care.

All therapists working at
CCT have completed appropriate training, are registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and have enhanced DBS certification.
